Vital Statistics

The Treasurer's Office provides issuance of birth and death certificates, marriage licenses and certified copies of marriage records, clergyman credentials, as well as processes notary public registrations and passport applications.

This office serves our county's veterans, their dependents and widows with application for, and ongoing eligibility for, benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the State Department of Veterans Affairs.

The Meeker County Recorder's Office is an acceptance agent for passport applicants.

Law Library

Meeker County offers a Self-Help Law Library that is accessible to the public for use during normal business hours. The library is overseen by a Board of Directors and maintained by the Law Librarian. Resources include: court forms and literature related to Minnesota laws, statutes and ordinances, family and civil law, debt collection, landlord/tenant issues, estates, and more. A computer is also available for use, with free access to Westlaw. Printing and copies are available.
