Investigations

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office Investigative Division is comprised of two divisions:

Criminal Investigations Division

Three detectives are assigned to investigate serious criminal activity such as theft, burglary, robbery, arson, death casuties, physical assaults, sexual assaults, computer crimes, financial crimes, fraud, child abuse/neglect, vulnerable adult crimes, and welfare fraud. This division is responsible for tracking Registered Predatory Offenders and assisting local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in their investigations.

Drug and Gang Investigations Division

Two detectives are assigned to the multi-jurisdictional CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force. These detectives cooperate with other local, state, and federal agencies in their effort to identify, investigate and apprehend those engage in criminal drug activity.  They also identify, investigate and apprehend gang members engaged in criminal activity.


Each investigative division of the Meeker County Sheriff's Office is responsible for processing crime scenes as well as evidence collection, identification, and preservation.
