In accordance with Minnesota Statute 641.12, persons convicted of a crime and confined in a county jail may be charged the cost of the person's room and board, among other things. The Meeker County Board of Commissioners has authorized this fee for inmates in the Meeker County Jail upon their conviction.
The Pay for Stay fee is $25 per day. Payment arrangements will be made before the inmate is released.
