The Meeker County Transfer Station is adjacent to the Demolition Landfill just off Highway 24 about half way between Litchfield and Forest City. This facility serves as a center for solid waste transfer and recycling drop. Review Meeker County Transfer Station rates (PDF).

The Transfer Station is now accepting fluorescent bulbs...any size FREE from Meeker County residents AND businesses, limited to 50 bulbs per trip.

NOT ACCEPTED AT THIS LOCATION:  
- compost yard waste
- household hazardous waste
- waste oil/oil filters/antifreeze
