Meeker Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) annually sells thousands of trees to county landowners. Pre-orders begin in January.

We offer a wide variety of trees and shrubs. The bare root trees are sold in bundles of 25 and the potted trees are sold individually. Trees orders are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and are distributed in April. Special orders of trees and shrubs that are not on the regular tree list can be made by calling 320-693-7287, option 3.

We also have a tree planting and tree fabric program and offer tree tubes and stakes, mats and staples and fertilizer for sale. Click here to learn about the benefits and use of the tree tubes and contact us with any questions.

Whether you are planning a hedge, shelter belt, field windbreak wildlife habitat or just want some shade, we have the right shrubs and trees for all your needs.

Pollinator Habitats

Meeker SWCD also offers several options for local residents to provide pollinator habitat within their local environment. Residents can choose native seed mixes or wildflower plant kits, both of which are designed to provide flowering species throughout the growing season to provide food and habitat for the native pollinating insects, bees and butterflies. Consider planting both the seed mix and the plant kits together to enhance your pollinator friendly habitat.
