Meeker SWCD has a native grass drill available for rent. The drill has three seed boxes so you can plant a variety of seeds.
The fluffy box allows you to seed native grasses and flowers that are often used in CRP, RIM or other cost-share programs.
The small seed box is ideal for native flowers or alfalfa seed.
The large cool season box can seed oats, wheat, bluegrass or any other small grain.
The SWCD staff will deliver the drill to your field, help you with set-up and pick up the drill when you are done seeding. The drill has a planting width of 8 feet and is ideal for food plots, alfalfa seeding, pasture seeding and native prairie seeding.
To rent the drill, please fill out our Drill Rental Agreement found at the bottom of this page and turn it into our office along with your $250 deposit.
